Cooking With Esi

This is my beautiful girl, Esi (pronounced essie).  Of course, that’s not her real name, but I let her pick her alias and she picked Esi.  Had I had my way, this blog would have been cooking with Lou.  Lou is an old family nickname and it’s what I call her anyway, but she would have none of it.  So, the blog became cooking with Esi.

And here’s my girl in action, making a birthday cake for Grandma.

Esi loves to cook and bake.  I must admit that she’s pretty good.  She can turn out a really nice pizza crust and she did a great job on this cake.  She is also the official pancake maker in the house.  She’s a little messy in the kitchen, but she’s willing to try anything which makes cooking with Esi fun.
